About me
In my teaching philosophy, I believe every students has the ability to create and express their own ideas and believe there is no right way to make art.
I encourage students to explore and understand different perspectives, and take risk, make mistakes and learn through the process.
I like to introduce different kinds of materials ,from drawing and painting to ceramics , as well as working with metal and wood, encouraging students to explore different way of making.
I see art class as a space for curiosity, reflection and personal growth for students and educator.
Art is a way of thinking , exploring, and understanding the world.
I work across different art forms, with a focus on ceramics. I am interested in the connection between material and process. I love to explore these ideas through experimentation.
